The Equine Committee consists of two members from each Virginia mounted team. The committee works to maintain and update the standards for mounted search and rescue in the state of Virginia and to work together to coordinate horse and rider evaluations and training. Currently the committee consists of members from Black Diamond Mounted Team, Piedmont Search & Rescue Mounted Team, and TrotSAR Mounted Search and Rescue Team.
