SAR Academy Courses

Currently, the core certification courses are all taught exclusively at SAR Academies. The SAR Academies are held at locations that accommodate 4 classes, and all the activities associated with each. The courses are each 40+ hour courses that are taught by practitioners in a mixture of classroom and hands-on activities that prepare the participant for real world missions. The courses being taught at the same location over the course of two weekends enables classes to interact throughout the academy as well as the culminating event on the second weekend of a functional exercise where all classes work together to accomplish the mission.
